Working for Neul
We expect there to be 50 billion connected Machine-to-Machine devices by 2020 – several per human on the planet – the majority of which will be connected wirelessly. This exciting industry, which could be bigger in both volume and total revenue than the mobile phone industry, is just beginning.
The proliferation of connected devices is a global imperative. As the world becomes ever more crowded, efficient use of resources – land, water, fuel, infrastructure, roads and even radio spectrum – becomes essential. We have to avoid a 'tragedy of the commons'.
This is true not only for the developed world; it is in developing economies where resources are perhaps most stretched and so it is essential to build-in efficiency from the start rather than merely adopting methods which are already becoming obsolete.
Neul provides the wireless network for these devices and applications which until now were not technically or commercially possible. This network can be used for so many applications that we have barely scratched the surface. For instance it provides the quality of service, coverage and capacity to schedule national road traffic to increase efficiency and reduce congestion, or provide an end to end smart energy grid (which is estimated to save £1Bn annually, and associated carbon emissions, in the UK alone).
These are just two of the myriad applications. As well as the existing applications for M2M, whole new industries will emerge to exploit our network and its unique possibilities. Come and help us develop and deploy this network.
Working for Neul represents a unique opportunity whatever stage you are at in your career. We are a young, dynamic company and are looking to recruit first class people with a broad range of skills and experience to contribute to our success. We welcome applications from new or recent graduates as well as experienced professionals.
Neul offers competitive salaries and a range of benefits including a company pension scheme and a share option scheme.
If you want to help make Neul the global leader in Machine-to-Machine communications please contact us quoting the references below and enclosing a current CV/resume.
Please note that all current vacancies are permanent positions and are based in our offices in Cambridge, UK. At this time, Neul is only considering direct applications from candidates; no agencies please. Neul is an equal opportunities employer.
